TriloTracker allows you to make music just at the level of Konami. And now finally the day has come. Gryzor87 created a complete tutorial for making music with TriloTracker on an MSX2 computer or higher. It comes with a 32 page manual and two MSX floppies (*.DSK images): 8 full songs and tons of instruments and waveforms. You can download the package from Gryzor87's website.

Finally!

The example songs in this package are taking full advantage of almost all TT features. A lot of bugs have been found and solved during composing. Gryzor87 thanks for your patience and support.

For the last song (Nemesis II) even a new feature had to be implemented; HW PSG Envelope effect command. This to be able to reproduce the perfect Konami bassdrum.

Please make sure to use TriloTracker v.0.8.0 which contains the needed features and bugfixes to be able to enjoy the music to it's fullest.
Trilotracker v0.8.0 is due to be released today to match this release. Please stay tuned for the next hours as I am fixing the last needed bugfix.

The tutorial and Nemesis II song are based on the new version of TT.

The new version (0.8.0) is available here: http://trilobyte-msx.com/TriloTracker

Happy composing!

Me too, this manual is great, you see directly that it has been made by a talented musician. At the same time, you have a good overview of all technical effects supported by Trilo Tracker. Huey has made an excellent work ! Smile

Just a small question: why the complex tutorial (including binaries) on how to rip out waves from Konami games? (I understood that all Konami waves are already in...)

I guess you can use the nezplug for more than only to grab MSX waveforms.

O MY GOD!! Just today I downloaded the latest TriloTracker 0.8 and Gryzor87 his tutorial and sample music....

It's jaw dropping!!

How can we promote this great tracker to make sure it gets used?!

What is Gryzor87 up to, lately? Is he still composing using TriloTracker?

And what about JohnHassink his tunes? They're great as well!

We should give more attention to this kind of fantastic software. Maybe a challenge or some kind of interactive tutorial....
