Flyguille released his complete graphics suite IDEGFX including its source code. The package contains the following features:
- Tiles & metatiles editor. Supported formats: SC2 8x8, SC5 8x8, 16x16, 32x32 pixels, SC8 8x8, 16x16, 32x32 pixels
- Sprite editor. Supported formats: Monocolor sprites (screen 1 to 3), and multicolor sprites (screens 4 and up)
- Map editor. Supported blocks, 16x16 pixels or 32x32 pixels size each block. 8 or 16 bits encoding
- Metatiling chart editor (for map encoding, also used to fill up the screen2's name table)
- Make your own graphics library with the copy command that allows you to exchange or copy graphics from one loaded file to another
The graphics can be exported to binary, bloadable binary or text files. You can follow the development of IDEGFX and offer feedback in this forum topic
