On May 3rd and 4th, the Atlanta Historical Computer Society and the Computer Museum of America have announced the second annual Vintage Computer Festival Southeast. The venue will be the same as last year, in the CompUSA building in Roswell GA, USA. This year's exhibit space will be greatly enlarged over last year, occupying the whole space of the old CompuUSA store. About 2/3 of the space will be occupied by a museum display of personal computing artifacts from the Kenbak 1 forward.

The popular retro-gaming area and introduction to soldering activity will be available again. The festival will also bring in a number of vendors, assemble a stellar slate of speakers, and offer workshop experiences. In the Exhibit area, SkyeWelse, MisterSpin and Maggoo will be hosting the MSX booth again. The MSX exhibit area will be larger than last year and feature classic and new MSX Models such as the Zemmix Neo. Homebrew MSX hardware and software will also be available for everyone to enjoy.

You can check how the MSX promotion stand looked last year in this photoshoot. If you are in the area, make sure you come visit VCFSE 2.0 !

Coleco sold more than 6 Million consoles, most of them in U.S. Maybe they would be interested to know that some of their beloved Coleco videogames are still alive and being ported to other platforms...
Cool Cool

For those of you who are interested, the Floppy Days podcast has dedicated an episode to interview the organizers of the show and talk about what will be available during VCFSE. It should be a very good show !

There is also a kickstarter campaign organized to help fund the organization.

Is there any other MSX users in the USA attending VCFSE this year?
